Who doesn’t love to spoil their pawfect pups with a tasty treat? Whether it’s for a special occasion or just because, homemade goodies can add a little extra love to your dog’s day.
Recently, we baked a birthday cake for my mother-in-law’s dog to celebrate his 3rd birthday, and I thought, why not share the recipe with all of you? It’s simple, delicious, and can easily be adapted to fit your pup’s dietary needs. We used lamb’s liver, but feel free to substitute it with something that works better for your dog.
A little heads-up: the liver can make the prep a bit smelly 🤢, but don’t let that put you off! While it’s baking, your pup will likely be camped out by the oven, tail wagging in anticipation, and when it cools, they’ll be more than ready for a taste.
So, go ahead and give it a try! Let me know in the comments how your dog enjoyed their special treat. Be sure to include a photo of your proud pup with their cake! 📸🐾

Happy baking! 🧑🍳🐾
