No-Show & Late Policy for Pawfect Training Academy

Effective as of 04 April 2025

At Pawfect Training Academy, every session is designed to give you and your dog focused, personalised support. To ensure fairness and protect valuable time for all clients—including those referred via our charity partnerships—this policy outlines what happens if sessions are missed, cancelled late, or started late.

By booking a session, you’re agreeing to the following terms.


🕒 1. Late Arrivals

We understand life can get in the way. That’s why we offer a 15-minute grace period for all online sessions.

  • If you arrive within the grace window, your session will continue for the remaining time—but cannot run over.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session will be considered a no-show and is non-refundable.

Please aim to log in 5 minutes early to allow for any tech hiccups.


🚫 2. No-Shows & Missed Sessions

If you miss a session without letting us know at least 24 hours in advance, the full session fee will be charged.

  • No-shows are not eligible for rescheduling or refunds.
  • For charity-referred clients, missing a session without notice means:
    • Your discount is void
    • You’ll be invoiced the full session price
    • Future sessions may require advance payment

This helps ensure we can continue supporting rescue work responsibly and fairly.


🔄 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We get that things change. To cancel or reschedule without charge:

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice by emailing training@pta.dog
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in full charges unless rescheduling is approved at our discretion
  • In genuine emergencies, reach out as soon as possible—we’ll do our best to help

🌐 4. Technical Difficulties

If you lose internet or experience tech issues:

  • Contact us immediately at training@pta.dog
  • A one-time reschedule may be offered at our discretion
  • If the issue is on our end, we’ll reschedule your session at no extra cost

Being prepared before your session (strong Wi-Fi, Teams link ready, device charged) helps prevent disruption.


🐾 5. Charity-Referred Clients – Missed Session Policy

If you’ve been referred to Pawfect Training Academy through one of our trusted charity partners (such as UK Boston Terrier Rescue or any other approved charity partner), we’re proud to offer subsidised support to help dogs in need.

However, these sessions are limited and rely on mutual respect and commitment.

  • If you fail to attend a booked session without providing 24 hours’ notice, you will be:
    • Invoiced the full standard session fee
    • Responsible for payment of that invoice in full, regardless of your referral status
    • Required to pay in advance for any future sessions

This policy ensures that limited training spaces are used fairly, and helps protect the ongoing support we provide to rescue organisations.

By proceeding with a charity-referred session, you agree to these terms.
