Certified SA Pro Behaviour Consultant and founder of Pawfect Training Academy
“I help anxious dogs feel safe at home, and I help exhausted humans get their lives back.”
My story
I have worked with dogs for over eighteen years. Long before I founded Pawfect Training Academy, I was already helping families understand their dogs and discover that kindness, patience, and science could achieve more than fear ever could. Creating my own brand was a recent step, but my passion for force-free training has been at the heart of everything Iβve done for nearly two decades.
I specialise in separation anxiety because I have lived it. When I adopted Reggie, my rescue Staffy, he panicked the moment I tried to leave. He chewed his tail bloody, paced, cried, and could not settle. I started from minutes, sometimes seconds, pairing departures with safety and predictability. Through careful desensitisation, clicker-clear communication, and patient, positive reinforcement, Reggie went from panic to peace. That experience shapes how I work with every family today.
How I work
Training with me is completely force-free and based on evidence, compassion, and clear communication.
- Always under threshold so your dog learns without fear or frustration.
- Delivered remotely so your dog can learn in the comfort and safety of their own environment.
- Structured guidance and WhatsApp support between sessions so you are never left unsure of what to do next.
Punishment may suppress behaviour temporarily, but it damages trust and increases anxiety. My approach builds confidence instead, reinforcing calm, desirable choices and helping you truly understand your dogβs emotional world.

Why remote works
Dogs learn best where they feel safe. Online training allows me to observe and support your dog in the very environment that causes difficulty. It reduces stress, prevents setbacks, and creates more reliable results. It also means families anywhere in the UK, USA, or beyond can access specialist help without leaving home.

Beyond the trainer
Away from coaching sessions and behaviour plans, my focus is simple. I want to raise the standard of modern dog training and help guardians truly understand what their dogs are trying to say. My own dogs, Penny, Onyx, and Reggie, shape much of that vision. Penny reminds me how joyfully dogs learn when training is clear and kind. Onyx brings humour and curiosity to every day. Reggie, who once struggled so deeply with separation anxiety, reminds me why this work matters.
I am committed to creating a world where guardians feel supported rather than overwhelmed, and where dogs are understood rather than judged. Education, empathy, and evidence based practice guide everything I do. Whether I am writing new resources, studying for advanced behaviour qualifications, recording podcast episodes, or supporting rescue organisations, the goal is always the same. To make life calmer, kinder, and more predictable for anxious dogs and the people who love them.
