We’ve Reached 1,000 Subscribers on YouTube, and I Couldn’t Be More Grateful

I’m really excited to share a milestone that genuinely means a lot to me.

The Paws and Pawsitivity Podcast has officially reached 1,000 subscribers on YouTube.

What started as a way to talk honestly about dogs, behaviour, emotions, and training has grown into a community of people who care deeply about doing right by their dogs. Hitting 1,000 subscribers isn’t just a number. It’s 1,000 people choosing kind, ethical, force-free training over outdated approaches rooted in fear or punishment.

And that matters.

Why this milestone means so much

Every episode is created with one clear aim: to help dog guardians understand what’s really going on for their dogs and to show that behaviour always has a reason.

Dogs aren’t being stubborn.
They aren’t trying to dominate us.
They’re communicating.

Seeing this message resonate with so many of you reassures me that attitudes are changing and that more people are open to learning, reflecting, and supporting their dogs with compassion.

That shift is powerful.

Thank you for being part of this journey

Whether you’ve listened to one episode or every single one, whether you’ve shared the podcast with a friend or quietly watched along in the background, you’ve played a part in reaching this milestone.

I’m incredibly grateful for every comment, every message, and every conversation sparked by the podcast. They remind me why this work matters and why continuing to talk about kind training is so important.

If you’re new here

If you’ve joined my mailing list recently or haven’t explored the podcast yet, you’ll find the Paws and Pawsitivity Podcast over on YouTube at @PTA_Dog.

Episodes cover topics like:

  • Understanding canine body language
  • Stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being
  • Separation anxiety and alone-time struggles
  • Why force-free training works and why aversive methods don’t

Everything is rooted in science, empathy, and real-life experience, with the goal of helping dogs feel safer and guardians feel more confident.

Here’s to what comes next

Reaching 1,000 subscribers is a moment to pause and celebrate, but it’s also motivation to keep going. There are still so many dogs who need understanding, and so many guardians who need reassurance that they’re not failing their dog.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting this work. And thank you for helping spread the message that training should always build trust, not fear.

If you haven’t subscribed yet, I’d love to welcome you over on YouTube at @PTA_Dog.

Here’s to the next milestone, together. 🐾
